Kemi’s wonderful fall

Well, before I arrive to another country, I would like to post some of my Finnish pictures (the old ones). There are no such words to describe my feleling about Finland. And Kemi, where I actually lived, always takes a special place in my heart.

Traveling around Finland…

It turned out that recently I’ve visited so many places in Finland! Some of these trips were relateted to my studies and others were just for my pleasure. Anyway, now I know for sure there are different interesting cities and towns in here and I definetely should continue my traveling sooner!

Now I’d like to post here the pictures from Vaasa  – I found this city a really-really beautiful. I took an entrance exam there and it was a lack of time to make pics though. I had only one evening for that. But I tried to catch as more as I could. I was slowly moving to the downtown from my hotel, trying to find some cheap food at the same time 😀 The weather was good (especially comparing to the climate in Lapland) except a cool wind. And lot of the greenish colour everywhere!

That is “Astor” where I stayed in Vaasa. It’s a very comfortable and stylish hotel. I think it looks like one of those old-fashioned hotels which can fascinate you by its soleness. By the way, there are truly royal breakfasts there so I felt myself a sort of VIP person while I was having it 😉

Unfortunatley I didn’t take my “Nikon” with me and I had to shoot photos through my iphone. But it went out not bad, didn’t it? 😉

“Panorama cafe”

I want to tell you about one nice place in Kemi called “Panorama Cafe”. Even the name of it sounds poetic so it certainly intrigued me. This cafe is situated on the top floor of City Hall, in fact, on the roof of the building. Me and my friend just went in and used the old and very slow elevator to get there. Cafe came up a little bit different then I’d supposed but anyway I got my cup of coffee! There were not so many people and we went to the roof for seeing the most exiting sight of the downtown. We didn’t expect that Kemi is so big and beautiful… Honestly saying, I’m afraid of  high heights but I’m sure it was worth it!
